TAYLOR IS TURNING 8 ... getting Baptized

Taylor will turn 8 on September 29 She will be baptized on Saturday, October 11 at 9:00 am This Mom intends to send something to "everyone" so you know date & time Don't hold your breath waiting for the mail - I have best of intentions but end up hoping for word of mouth

Anna Turned 12 in style

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA!!!!! Anna and three friends, and sister Taylor, went to the beauty college for a new "look" It was a great time and extra fun since there was a fund raiser at school that night so they got to show off. I can't believe Anna is 12. It's one of those measurement birthdays. She went to Young Womens today - no more Primary. Cousin Parker is next to turn 12 and graduate from primary.

as if we have nothing else going on

Zinga, the hamster momma, pushed this little one out of the nest (or so we think). We tried to put her/him back up with a spoon but she was rejected again. After walking with eyes closed, and mouth open, around the bottom of the cage Mom Shauna finally gave in and got kitty formula and a little bottle. She drinks it pretty good and today liked eating bread soaked in the milk. Anna finally gave in and held her today. She's been too worried about her size and hurting her. We're hoping that she's a he so we can keep the dad, Coco and this little one.

There are still 3 others being taken care of. If you want a hamster we have one.

Hampton Court for Sale

We want Greg and Jen and the boys to buy ours but they won't commit. Wouldn't Alec (and the girls) LOVE having those boys at the top of the hill! If you know of a Salt Lake family that is looking or thinking about it we'd love a great family in this home/neighborhood.

BEAR LAKE ... we are now fans of the KOA

We went to Bear Lake for a last hurrah before school. We heard the KOA there was good so we gave it a shot. We were mid week so I'm sure that added positive points for few people. Shauna used to joke about KOA's and our friend told us that as a child of a single mother they loved them but only went in the wee hours of the night to clean up in the bathrooms. We stayed in a Kabin and had a great time. Love kamping with a shower and tile bathroom floors. Kids loved the banana bikes. If anyone knows a source to buy these at a deal we want some.

We also had a ball at the actual Bear Lake. The water was more cold than I remembered, we loved the extremely shallow pools. Pyper really needed a bath after this weekend

Taylor said that was the best show she has ever seen - I'm sure it helped to have a fun & gorgeous cousin in the show. Thanks Haley for sharing with us. oh-extra bonus - Taylor signed up for tap this week.

A Hamster Problem - they can have babies every 3 weeks

Anna's girl hamsters, or so we were told, had babies about 3 weeks ago. One boy and one girl, or so we think. This morning Anna noticed all were huddled together, looked in and now there are more baby hamsters. It looks like 4 or 5. Hoopefully, this is the last set of babies. Anyone want a hamster? (baby or adult)

Alec LOVES baseball He watches the Sandlot and pro games with dad and has all of the moves down. He taps home base with his bat, knocks dirt off his shoes and now he points to center field. Alec insists on running to 3rd base first and loves to slide into the pitchers mound

Surprise for Morgan ... Pyper

Morgan went with Grandma and her friends to the Shakespeare festival.
Word is she bought a sword and a dagger to remember the experience. OH MY!

hooray for july and fireworks

in Utah we get to do fireworks the whole month (well almost)
after a fun GODFREY family reunion we met at G&G Godfrey's for dinner, aggie ice cream and fire fun with cousins and neighbors
Grandpa sat in the king seat and passed out sparklers, fireworks, candy and more fireworks
