I took the kids to the park on a sunny winter day. We took the naughty puppy Pyper on her leash (she doesn't really like to "come") Anna and her friends, Kourtney and Ju, had been at a 50's birthday party and they came along. What was I thinking?????
Yes, we had had lots of sun ...
However, we had major snow and it was the end of the day, getting cold and very slippery.
Luckily I was almost prepared, I had an IKEA bag, one pair of snow pants and a stadium cushion in the back of the van, and one child wore a parka. The kids went sledding in the bag, on the cushion, balancing on their shoes, and Anna was lucky enough to wear the pants and slide on her butt.
In the picture of Kourt and Alec they just slid down the stairs on their bottoms. I had perfect timing for once. Anna is trying not to fall
